For Kicks & Giggles: Spot the Difference, Gone Bananas and WoSo Covers

The puzzle page marks the start of the domestic season with three games. Spot the Difference uses two photographs of the Aston Villa dressing room at Boldmere St Michaels before a Championship match and asks readers to find eleven changes, the answer key running from a missing shinpad and a debranded water bottle to bananas on the floor, an altered name on a shirt and, improbably, a light sabre. Gone Bananas covers three WSL players’ faces with fruit dropped by the magazine’s cartoon monkey, the answers given as Gemma Davison of Tottenham Hotspur, Ellie Roebuck of Manchester City and Jess Clarke of Liverpool. A third game, WoSo Covers, presents mocked-up album sleeves and invites readers to name the imaginary acts and their records.
