For Kicks & Giggles: Grounds For Confusion and the Canada Gold Spot The Difference
She Kicks, issue 69, October 2021 p.70
The puzzle page runs two games. The first, Grounds For Confusion, asks readers to identify six football grounds where women’s teams played over the opening weekend of the season, when clubs from the top three tiers took advantage of a men’s international break; the answers are printed, and they are Goodison Park, Manchester United’s ground at Leigh, Princes Park in Dartford for London City Lionesses, the Amex, the Emirates and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The second is built from the split-second after Canada realised they had won Olympic gold, the squad rushing towards Julia Grosso, who had scored the decisive penalty, with WSL players Adriana Leon, Deanne Rose, Shelina Zadorsky and Jessie Fleming among them. Nine differences are hidden in it.
