For Kicks and Giggles — Cups and Mugs (Historic Mugshots)

The cup final issue’s fun page digs into the magazine’s own back catalogue, reaching to 1996 when the She Kicks team started out promoting women’s football, and challenges readers to spot today’s stars in five historic team photographs. The clues run through Ayr United’s array of silverware in 1995-96, Wembley Ladies winning the 1996 Women’s National League Cup, Croydon’s captain lifting the FA Women’s Cup after a 1-1 draw with Liverpool won 3-2 on penalties, Tranmere Rovers’ victory at the 1996 Keele Classic, and Wolves under-16s as five-a-side champions. The printed answers identify Julie Fleeting, Kelly Smith, Hope Powell, Sue Smith and Rachel Unitt. A competition to win one of five Tiny Tok watches runs alongside.
