Beyond the obvious firearms and drugs, the ban ran to anything usable as a weapon including large umbrellas and folding chairs, bottles and cans of any material, drones and remote-controlled aircraft, laser pointers, liquids without a medical reason, pyrotechnics, promotional or commercial material, paper rolls, noise-making instruments from vuvuzelas to klaxons, professional camera equipment, and any discriminatory or political wording or symbol.
