Feel The Forza (Aurora Galli interview)

Two pages with the midfielder billed as the WSL’s first Italian player, at the end of a difficult first season at Everton and before a tournament in which Italy carried classic dark-horse credentials. Aurora Galli is honest that the results did not come but happy with the experience, the team-mates and the people she has met, and says the early difficulty did not last long. Her family are coming to every game and a group of friends are organising flights and coaches; her parents and brother will stay with her in Liverpool. Asked whether Italy would beat England on penalties as the men’s side had a year earlier, she would rather it were settled in play – though she confirms she is usually fourth in the order.
