FAWSL Quick Kicks: Top Ten with Beth Mead (Arsenal)
She Kicks, issue 67, June 2021 pp.20–21
Arsenal’s forward takes the magazine’s ten questions and answers them like someone enjoying herself. She describes herself as bubbly and a team player who gives everything, and would run the side out to a cheesy Trombone Shorty version of Here Come the Girls. She watches an enormous amount of football, including the National League this season because Steph Catley’s partner plays for Sutton. If she could be professional at something else it would be singing, the one thing she really cannot do, and her dream ticket is Adele. Given a training session she would run possession work, shooting and crossing, then small-sided games in tournament form. On her boots she would have Rona, her spaniel, with paws. Her holiday companion, for her own safety, is Danielle van de Donk.
