FAWSL Quick Kicks: Natasha Dowie

A Quick Kicks Q&A with Reading’s new number ten, back in the FA WSL after spells in the United States, Sweden, Australia, Norway and Italy, and off the mark in October’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa following a delayed start through injury. Dowie describes herself as a strong, competitive goalscorer, picks Demi Lovato’s Sorry Not Sorry for the run-out music, and calls a Super Sunday her perfect day as a Liverpool fan. Netball, which she played to county level as a goal attack, is her alternative sport, and an NBA game in Michael Jordan’s era her dream ticket. The moment she has replayed most is her 118th-minute FA Cup final winner against Arsenal for Everton in 2010. She would run a whole session of finishing, and take Deanne Rose to Dubai.
