FAWPL Update and Hotshots

Blackburn Rovers extend their lead over AFC Fylde and Middlesbrough at the top of the FAWPL Northern Division with a four-one win over Nottingham Forest, with Derby County a point behind Boro and a game in hand, and Newcastle United bottom. The Southern Division looks a genuine contest: Coventry United, Cardiff City and Tottenham Hotspur are all unbeaten after seven games but trail Charlton Athletic, who have played two more, while QPR are yet to register a point. Guiseley, Chorley and Hull City have started well in Northern Division 1, AFC Wimbledon and Cambridge United lead the South East, and Plymouth Argyle have won six out of six in the South West.
