FAWPL and Around the Regions: Addicks and Boro Lead the Way

A third of the way into the winter season, Middlesbrough lead the Northern Division from Leicester City though Blackburn have yet to drop a point, and Charlton are seven clear in the Southern despite a first defeat at home to West Ham. Loughborough Foxes and Hull City are unbeaten at the top of their divisions, AFC Wimbledon and MK Dons occupy the first two places in the South East, and Southampton have made a perfect start on their Premier League debut. The Top Scorers tables, complete to 27 October, are led by Tash Knapman of Plymouth Argyle on twenty-one and Gemma Bryan of Crystal Palace on fifteen. In the League Cup, Bradford City won on sudden-death penalties having played much of the tie a player down.
