FAWPL 2015-16: fixtures and nine new clubs

The FA Women’s Premier League kicks off on 16 August with Portsmouth, who missed out on a WSL place in the play-off, facing a tough start away to Cardiff, and a London derby between Spurs and QPR among the Southern Division openers. Promoted sides C&K Basildon and Forest Green host Charlton and visit Brighton respectively, while Northern debutants Loughborough Foxes and Guiseley travel to Blackburn and Derby. Nine new clubs enter the competition for 2015-16: Birmingham and West Midlands and Peterborough Northern Star come into the Midlands, Blackpool Wren Rovers and Hull City into Northern Division 1, Lowestoft Town and Old Actonians join the South East, and Gloucester City, Maidenhead United and Swindon Spitfires enter the South West.
