Fast Fives: Gemma Davison

The recurring Fast Fives quickfire feature, with the Watford winger who rejoined her old club last year and helped take them back to the Championship. Davison, a four-time WSL champion who once practised skills before games with a Brazilian teammate at Western New York Flash named Marta, says she has more tools now than ever and has never changed a style built on the speed and flair Emma Hayes always encouraged. She names her first season at Chelsea in 2015 as her happiest, and outside football has set up an elite youth training centre. The second half turns to teammates: Alli Palisch’s coach-trip quizzes, Megan Chandler as the group’s mum, Corinne Henson the dark horse.
