Fast Fives: Bayley Hutchison

Aberdeen’s Bayley Hutchison, the SWPL 1’s top scorer from outside the traditional top six, features in this issue’s Fast Fives Q&A. Having debuted for the Dons at just 14 and since passed 100 goals for the club, the 20-year-old discusses her aggressive attacking style, her admiration for Erin Cuthbert and Lionel Messi (whose number 10 she wears), and her grassroots roots with Kintore United Boys’ Club before committing fully to Aberdeen. She also talks about balancing football with sport science studies at Robert Gordon University. The accompanying ‘second half’ names Jess Broadrick as the squad’s fastest player, Emma Lawson as its clumsiest, captain-and-teacher Hannah Stewart as its ‘mum’, and Phoebe Murray or Darcie Miller as its dark horses.
