England’s record cap holder arrives at Reading after a spell at Arsenal in which she played less than she would have liked, and describes a style of play – getting the ball down, playing a certain way – that she thought would suit her. At thirty-three she says she is in the best shape she has been in for a very long time, weight and shape both, and felt fitter than ever at the Euros.
