Fans Forum: #SKFansForum World Cup Predictions

The magazine puts two questions to its Twitter followers: which team will win the World Cup, and which player will be a standout star. Germany is the overwhelming choice for the title, named by more than half the respondents, with the USA, France, England and Canada also backed; one supporter argues Canada’s home crowds and a decent manager could carry them. Celia Sasic is the most frequently tipped player, followed closely by Fran Kirby, whose supporters include several using the magazine’s own FranClub hashtag and one who predicts she will become a Dame in the Queen’s honours list. Marta, Ada Hegerberg, Christen Press, Dzenifer Marozsan, Eugenie Le Sommer, Nilla Fischer, Morgan Brian and Christine Sinclair all draw single nominations, alongside a vote for Lucy Bronze.
