FA WSL Season Wrap
She Kicks, issue SK11, November 2012 pp.30–31
A wrap of the second FA Women’s Super League season, in which Arsenal celebrated the title with a 3-2 home win over Doncaster despite two own goals, Aine O’Gorman’s 35-yard lob the pick of the goals. Arsenal also took the Continental Cup, Kim Little striking from 20 yards with eight minutes left to beat Birmingham before 2,535 at Barnet, with manager Laura Harvey praising a finish off her weaker foot. Little topped the scoring charts with 11, ahead of Jodie Taylor and Rachel Williams on seven. Mo Marley resigned as Everton manager after a decade, and an internal review ended Glen Harris’s spell at Lincoln, where Keith Boanas takes over.
