Ellen White, England (adidas Bronze Boot double-page poster)

A two-page poster marking Ellen White’s adidas Bronze Boot, awarded for the six goals that made her the joint-highest scorer at the 2019 World Cup. The left-hand page is a tight crop of a raised arm and clenched fist in an England sleeve, the celebration image the issue returns to more than once; the right-hand page is a portrait of White in the white home shirt, the number eight and the match detail from the Japan group game visible on the front, with the England crest and the award wording set alongside. White scored in five of England’s seven matches in France, including the brace against Japan and goals in the quarter-final and semi-final, and finished level on goals with Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe.
