Ella Toone Poster

A double-page pull-out poster of the Manchester United and England midfielder in the club’s green-and-yellow change strip, stretching for the ball at full length across both pages, her name set vertically in yellow on the right-hand side. It is the largest poster in the issue and arrives in the season after she scored England’s opening goal in the EURO final at Wembley, a finish set up by Keira Walsh’s pass and lobbed over the goalkeeper. The magazine’s other posters here are single pages, so the spread marks her out; the Ella Toone name also recurs through the issue, in Kerys Harrop’s column, in the puzzle answers and in the Born Kicking pages, where a seven-year-old reader names her twice.
