Doncaster Rovers Belles: Fast Facts & Ground Grab

A bruising 2016 left the Belles bottom of WSL 1 and relegated, having changed management early, lost key players to injury and gone winless until the final game. The page records the scale of it: fifteen consecutive defeats, three points from sixteen matches, eight goals scored and forty-eight conceded, with five different players sharing the scoring on a goal apiece. Sophie Barker started all sixteen. Emma Coates, twenty-six, stepped up from assistant after Glen Harris left in June, having previously coached at Leeds United Ladies; she is part of the club’s Female Mentoring Scheme and works under director of football Julie Chipchase. Home games are at the Keepmoat Stadium with a thousand parking spaces, and She Kicks makes them Spring Series favourites.
