She Kicks, issue 62, August 2020 p.6
A dated listing of the fixtures and draws that shaped the restarted 2020-21 calendar, published while much of it was still provisional. It runs from the Football Association of Ireland Women’s National League kick-off on 8 August through the compressed conclusion of the 2019-20 UEFA Women’s Champions League in the Basque Country in late August, the FA WSL and Championship kick-off on 5 and 6 September, and the autumn UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 qualifying programme, which brings Cyprus against Scotland, the Faroe Islands against Northern Ireland, Germany against the Republic of Ireland and Norway against Wales. It closes with the rearranged Women’s FA Cup quarter-finals on 26 and 27 September. As a snapshot of how the women’s game planned its way out of the shutdown, it is a more useful document now than it was then.
