Coach Kicks: Vicky Jepson (Liverpool FC Women)

The coaches’ questionnaire gets a Liverpool answer to almost everything. Vicky Jepson’s favourite session to deliver is finishing, because everyone likes hitting the net. Asked which player has made the biggest impression, she declines to pick favourites and then picks Niamh Charles, signed straight off a boys’ grassroots team on day one of trials because she stood out that much, and since capped at two World Cups. She has a football office at home with a tactics board and a patch of artificial grass, and expects to lose it if she ever has children. Her players moan about ice baths. She rates the League Managers Association above any book, and has Brent Hills as her assigned mentor. She would sign Tobin Heath.
