Coach Kicks: Scott Booth

Glasgow City head coach Scott Booth answers the Coach Kicks questionnaire. His favourite session is high tempo, moving quickly between parts, with a competitive edge. The player who made the biggest impression is Calvin Miller, a complex character with huge potential whom he geared up to be the match-winner against England in the Victory Shield. Asked the latest lesson learned he answers, pointedly, that if you are going into penalties you should make sure every taker is in order. Alex Smith at Aberdeen was his first mentor and shaped his philosophy. He would have loved Julie Fleeting in her prime to lead the line, and advises anyone moving abroad to be part of the experience, as he was in learning Dutch.
