Coach Kicks: Jamie Sherwood (Yeovil Town LFC)

Yeovil’s manager answers the Coach Kicks questionnaire and gives away more than the format usually allows. His motivational line is the club badge itself: he arrived thinking Achieve By Unity was a slogan and learned it meant something to the club, the fans and the players. His favourite session is transitions, scaled from three against one up to eleven against five, with the purpose of winning the ball back, breaking lines quickly and creating. He would pick Marieanne Spacey for his side, names Katie Daley as a sounding board and Sarah Wiltshire as a player who trusted whatever he asked, and admits he wrecks sessions when he joins in – which is, he says, what his players moan about most.
