Car Quiz: Kirsty Maclean

West Ham defender Kirsty Maclean, six years on from swapping Hibernian for a move south of the border, takes the wheel for Car Quiz in her second season as a Hammer. The Scotland international talks through her BMW 1 Series, her first car – a Ford Fiesta – and why she’d compare her driving to Lionel Messi’s game: reliable and skilful. She admits to never having named a car, dreams of owning a Porsche, and names hand cream, chewing gum and perfume among her essential glovebox items. Her favourite drive remains the scenic route home to Scotland, while she picks actor Melissa McCarthy as her ideal road-trip passenger, confident she’d make the journey fly by.
