Car Quiz: Elisha N’dow

A Car Quiz instalment with the Aston Villa central defender, who has been at the club for 14 years. N’dow explains that former teammate Hayley Crackle was her taxi driver once she reached the first team, though as a child she took the bus to training because her mother did not drive. She has a white Ford Fiesta, soon to be changed, which she tried and failed to name Olaf, and which she casts as a simple player who does the basics well but is quick off the mark. Her Christmas present was a personalised plate reading EN05 DOW, combining her squad number and name. Water, spare boots, a backpack, gloves, hat and snood are always aboard. She sings ballads, Adele or Beyonce on late drives, and would take her ninety-year-old nan to Cornwall.
