The magazine’s recurring slot for young players features two Cristiano Ronaldo admirers. Chloe Louise Ryan, 13, known as Crouchy, plays for Newton Aycliffe Youth girls on Saturdays and boys on Sundays, the Durham FA Player Development Squad and two school sides, is two-footed and plays striker because she loves scoring; she would play in green and white hoops for Celtic and names Jill Scott, Toni Duggan and Steph Houghton as heroes, with seven goals in a match her best return. Lara Heather, 14, plays for the Brighton and Hove Albion Academy and supports Tottenham, prefers centre midfield for the playmaking but has enjoyed being moved around for her development, admires Gareth Bale and Rachel Yankey, and makes football videos for her SheSkills YouTube channel.
