The youth Q&A meets an 11-year-old from Stockport who turns 12 this summer and has played for Stockport Vikings since she was seven, captaining them to their first trophy at a presentation held at Old Trafford. A Manchester United supporter who hopes to play for the club one day, McGrail favours defensive midfield because it lets her attack, defend and put in tackles. She would like to meet Maya Le Tissier, names Lily Parr among her heroes alongside her parents, swears by a pair of lucky ripped socks, and remembers falling into a mud puddle moments after telling her mum and dad she was not that muddy.
