Born Kicking: Louise Mills

Louise Mills is eight, plays striker for Treharris Athletic Western and two development centres, and supports Wales, Cardiff City, Liverpool and Real Madrid in that order. She would meet Gareth Bale and Ronaldo but play alongside Sophie Ingle, and would most like to wear a red Wales shirt. Her heroes are the Wales women’s team, because she would like to be one of them when she is older – published in the issue that records Wales unbeaten and one win from a World Cup. Asked what question she wished she had been asked, she nominates whether she thinks she will be a professional, and answers yes, because she practises every day, even before school, and listens to her coaches.
