Born Kicking: Keeping (the Elliott sisters)

The debut of Born Kicking, She Kicks’ feature to find future stars, hits a hat-trick with three goalkeeping sisters from Blackburn Rovers’ Centre of Excellence: Jasmine, 15, known as Jazz, Jade, 11, known as Jadykin, and Justine, known as Teeny. Development officer Gemma Donnelly says it is pretty unique to see three sisters with such a gift and that Rovers’ future is in extremely safe hands. In a light questionnaire the sisters explain how each ended up in goal – Jasmine standing in for an injured Euxton keeper, Justine handed gloves by Rovers coach Andy Fairman – and name the players they would most like to meet, Danielle Hill, Rachel Brown and Preston’s Andy Lonerghan. All three support Preston North End, all want to play in pink, and the answers take in superstitions, Haribos and Jaffa cakes, and what they shout on the pitch.
