Born Kicking — Jessica Sigsworth

The young player questionnaire features Jessica Lucy Sigsworth, a 17-year-old centre forward with Doncaster Rovers Belles who supports Manchester United. Known simply as Jess, she picks centre forward for the chances to score and because she loves running at defenders, and describes herself as fast, powerful and aggressive. She would most like to meet David Beckham and to play alongside the United States forward Alex Morgan. Her funniest football memory is her shorts coming down in a slide tackle on her first appearance for Sheffield United against Middlesbrough, saved by the under shorts she was wearing. She always wears white socks under her football socks on match days, names her father as her biggest fan, and lists her family alongside Rooney, Beckham and Jessica Ennis as heroes.
