Two young readers answer the Born Kicking questionnaire. Imogen Davies, 9, plays in goal for Northampton Town Girls FC, supports Northampton Town and Lincoln Ladies, and has met her hero Karen Bardsley, whose signed gloves are her most prized possession and double as her lucky pair. She describes herself as quick, determined and muddy, recalls diving to save a goal without noticing her boot was stuck in the net, and shouts come on Cobblers. Sophie Northover, 15, plays centre midfield for Queenbees FC of Bridport in Dorset, supports Liverpool and would meet Steven Gerrard or play alongside Luis Suarez. She calls herself powerful, committed and enthusiastic, kisses her badge before pulling on the shirt, and picks Black and Yellow by Wiz Khalifa because the team are bees.
