Born Kicking: Freya Golos

The Born Kicking junior-reader slot follows the issue’s international theme by introducing ten-year-old Freya Golos, who lives in Malmo in Sweden but is a committed Chelsea fan. Nicknamed Mini Hazard by team-mates, she used to play for FC Rosengard and now has one-to-one coaching sessions. Right-footed, she names striker as her favourite position because she loves to score, and describes herself as passionate, determined, talented and motivated. Having recently met Francesca Kirby and Claire Rafferty, she says she would love to meet David Luiz too, and would happily play alongside the whole Chelsea team. Her heroes are Emma Hayes and Kirby, her post-match treat a strawberry smoothie and her biggest fan her dad. Her favourite football memory is being a mascot at the Chelsea Ladies against Wolfsburg Champions League match in November 2015.
