Born Kicking: Ellie Luscombe

Nine-year-old midfielder Ellie Luscombe, of the Surrey FA Development Centre Under-11s and Colne Valley Girls Under-11s, answers the Born Kicking questionnaire. A Chelsea Ladies season-ticket holder, she plays in midfield because it puts her in all the action and lets her score. Having already met most of the Chelsea Ladies squad, the player she would most like to meet is Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, but the team-mate she would choose is Eniola Aluko, her favourite player, whose success she wants to match. She describes herself as fast, skilful and determined, turns the radio up to annoy her mother on the way to matches, and wants to be a full-time professional for Chelsea and England.
