Big Match/Dates Diary
She Kicks, issue 59, March 2020 p.5
A dense late-winter diary running from 9 February to 25 March 2020. Domestically it takes in the FA of Wales Cup quarter-finals, the fifth round and quarter-finals of the Women’s FA Cup, the start of the SWPL season on 23 February, the Continental Cup final at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground on 29 February and the FA WNL Reserve Cup, Plate and Plate final. Internationally it is unusually crowded: five invitational tournaments overlap in the first fortnight of March – the Cyprus Cup, the Pinatar Cup, the Tournoi de France, the Algarve Cup and the SheBelieves Cup – alongside Euro 2021 qualifiers for the Republic of Ireland against Greece and Montenegro, the Under-17 Euro elite round, and the first legs of the Champions League quarter-finals on 25 March.
