Big Match/Dates Diary
She Kicks, issue 58, January 2020 p.5
A short, cup-dominated diary for the opening weeks of 2020. It runs from the Women’s FA Cup third round on 5 January through the fourth round on 26 January and the fifth on 16 February, with the Continental Cup quarter-finals on 15 and 16 January, the semi-finals on 29 and 30 January, and the final on 29 February. The Welsh Cup quarter-finals are listed for 9 February. The one international entry is 13 January, when the AFC and CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournaments begin the process of deciding who joins the hosts at Tokyo 2020. The absence of a qualifying window in the period explains why the list is markedly shorter than the diaries either side of it.
