Beth Mead (full-page poster)

A full-page poster of Sunderland forward Beth Mead, captioned with the three honours she collected at the 2015 FA Women’s Football Awards: Vauxhall England Young Player of the Year, FA WSL 1 Players’ Player of the Year and FA WSL 1 Top Goalscorer. It marks the breakthrough season of a player who had moved up with Sunderland from WSL 2 and finished the campaign as the top flight’s leading scorer in her first season there. Elsewhere in the issue she describes the awards evening as an amazing feeling, saying she knew she was getting the top scorer prize but never expected the others, and that the one voted by her peers meant most because it showed they thought she had a good season.
