Barclays WSL Quick Kicks: Top Ten With Vicky Losada

Barcelona’s former eternal captain, a Champions League winner who returned to England with Manchester City, takes the ten-question slot. Losada describes herself as a tiki-taka player born into it at Barca but capable of fighting after time in the English league, and would run the team out to Sweet Caroline in tribute to what the Lionesses had achieved. She watches a great deal of football, admires Pep Guardiola’s men’s side, and would be a professional cyclist or padel player otherwise. The moment she replays is her goal for Spain at the 2015 World Cup, the country’s first in the competition’s history. Her boots carry the Spanish flag, because she misses home, and the LGBTQ flag, because she thinks a public figure should show support.
