Barclays WSL Quick Kicks: Top Ten With Missy Bo Kearns
She Kicks, issue 78, April 2023 pp.20–21
Nobody is enjoying Liverpool’s return to the WSL more than Missy Bo Kearns, a lifelong Red who joined the club at eight and once had her boots tied by Vicky Jepson, later her first-team manager. Ten quick questions find a midfielder who describes herself as confident, aggressive and creative, who puts house music on for the run-out, and who watches a match almost every day across the men’s Premier League, the EFL and foreign leagues. She would have played tennis if not football, and still regrets giving up El Clasico tickets for a fixture clash. She rewatches her own mistakes more than her goals, has her boots embroidered for autism awareness because it is close to her family, and would take Taylor Hinds to Milan.
