Barclays WSL Quick Kicks: Top Ten With Kadeisha Buchanan

A five-time European champion with Lyon and an Olympic gold medallist with Canada, Kadeisha Buchanan had joined Chelsea’s backline that season and takes the ten-question slot. She describes herself as very calm, or nonchalant, a word she says she gets a lot, and also aggressive and athletic. Lose Yourself would be the walk-out music, Drake or Beyonce otherwise, and she watches only the games that matter. The moment she replays is not a final but a semi-final: Deanne Rose winning a penalty against the United States in Japan, Jessie Fleming scoring it, and Canada winning 1-0 on the way to Olympic gold. Her boots carry her surname and her flag, the dream ticket is a plane one to the Maldives, and Lauren James is the teammate she would take.
