A Little Help for MEN United (Stacey Little interview)
She Kicks, issue 36, July 2016 p.43
C and K Basildon midfielder and former West Ham captain Stacey Little joined around 350 riders on the Football to Amsterdam charity bike ride in June, representing Dagenham and Redbridge and raising 3,174.14 pounds, the fourth-highest total from the London leg. Now in its fourth year, the ride passed a cumulative one million pound landmark for Prostate Cancer UK and the Football League. A friend from women’s football who works at Dagenham suggested it; she had always wanted to visit Amsterdam, though she concedes there are easier ways to get there. She trained on a static turbo trainer and then at Redbridge Cycling Centre, twice a week for two hours in the saddle, and would recommend it despite the difficulty.
