2021-22 Honours List
She Kicks, issue 74, July 2022 p.8
The third and final instalment of the magazine’s 2021-22 honours board, running to 45 divisions and completing a record begun two issues earlier. It reaches deep into the English pyramid, from FA Women’s National League Division One champions Billericay Town and Liverpool Feds down through regional premier divisions to county Division Five. Among them are York City, Blyth Town, AFC St Austell, Liskeard Athletic – whose Chloe Williams won the inaugural Vitality Women’s FA Cup Golden Ball, reported four pages earlier – Stourbridge, Bolton Wanderers, Bury, Gainsborough Trinity, Mulbarton Belles, Newcastle East End, Mansfield Hosiery Mills, Yorkshire Amateur and FC Chippenham. Taken with the sixteen divisions listed in issue 72 and the twenty-eight in issue 73, it records 89 champions that survive almost nowhere else.
