2020 UWCL Champions Lyon #FiveInARow (team poster)
She Kicks, issue 63, October 2020 p.6
A full-page poster of Lyon celebrating the 2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League, the fifth they had won in consecutive seasons and the seventh in their history. The final, played in San Sebastian at the end of a competition compressed into single-leg knockout ties in the Basque Country, ended 3-1 against Wolfsburg, with Eugenie Le Sommer and Saki Kumagai scoring before Alexandra Popp replied and Sara Bjork Gunnarsdottir settled it. The poster carries the #FiveInARow hashtag the club used to mark the run, and arrives in the issue directly after the news page reporting the win, which points readers to it. The PA Images photograph names no individual player, the squad celebrating together as a team.
