She Kicks, issue 46, March 2018 p.8

A three-page report on the 2018 Continental Tyres Cup Final, in which Arsenal claimed a fifth success in the competition by beating Manchester City 1-0 at a crowd of 2,136. Arsenal dominated the first half and scored in the 34th minute when Jordan Nobbs and Dominique Janssen combined down the right to set up Vivianne Miedema, who finished coolly at the back post. City, seemingly suffering an international hangover, came back after the break but could not convert against a defence recording a sixth consecutive clean sheet. Full line-ups are printed, with Amy Fearn refereeing. Joe Montemurro jokes he has held onto his job a few more weeks and calls it a benchmark passed; Nick Cushing says City were too passive and gave Arsenal too much respect. Lisa Evans, who cleared off the line, and Steph Houghton also give their verdicts.
