2015 Looking Back and Looking Forward
She Kicks, issue 32, January 2016 pp.29–31
Players and coaches from across the game name their best footballing moment of 2015, a Christmas wish and a new year resolution. Steph Houghton picks winning World Cup bronze with England and captaining her country with family watching. Danielle Carter chooses a senior England debut hat-trick against Estonia, and Caitlin Leach the four-days-later replay of ninety seconds in which Leah Williamson had to convert a penalty to reach the finals. Rick Passmoor selects leading Notts County out at Wembley and wishes for peace on earth. Gabby George picks a North West Football Awards rising star prize and a Goodison Park cup semi-final, Molly Bartrip the WSL 2 title, and Chloe Lloyd a first senior Welsh cap in Croatia. Resolutions range from scoring more goals to giving up chocolate.
