2014/2015 FA Women’s Premier League Review and Top Scorers

She Kicks, issue 28, June 2015 p.42

Sheffield FC win the FAWPL Trophy and the play-off for a WSL place through Lisa Giampalma’s late goal against Portsmouth, having been confirmed Northern Division champions after Coventry ran out of time to appeal a six-point deduction that destroyed their hopes. Portsmouth take the Southern title ahead of Brighton, while Gillingham, Keynsham and Wolves are relegated and Newcastle expect a reprieve. Loughborough Foxes win the Midlands by six points, Guiseley pip Liverpool Marshall Feds in Northern Division 1, and Forest Green Rovers edge Exeter City by three goals in the South West. C&K Basildon take the South East on the final day. Kit Graham tops the Southern Division scoring with 31 and Jodie Michalska the Northern with 25.
