Crystal Palace Women beat Bristol City 3-2 to move within three points of their third-placed Barclays WSL 2 hosts.

Elise Hughes headed Palace in front from Ashleigh Weerden’s cross, but Bristol City equalised with a Rio Hardy penalty late in the first half.

Kirsty Howat put Palace back ahead early in the second half, only for Emily Syme to immediately level from a Mari Ward cross.

Abbie Larkin put the Eagles ahead for the third time, her strike from outside the box coming with 16 minutes left of the 90.
