
Regional Leagues Round-Up: Sevenoaks Town won a nine-goal Trophy thriller, Leatherhead and Solihull Moors beat leaders, Royal Wootton Bassett Town drew level on points with top team, Wellingborough Town pulled off a shock first victory.
EASTERN – Stevenage Extend Lead
Premier – Stevenage extended their lead to nine points with a 3-0 win over St Albans City, as substitute Alysha Stojko-Down scored twice in front of a crowd of 168. Haringey Borough moved up two places to third with a 5-2 victory at Hutton, while Atletico London closed in on fifth-placed Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers, beating them 3-0 helped by a Rea Laudat double.
1 North – Stevenage Development beat Biggleswade United 3-1 aided by a Chloe Gregory brace to move up to second, Hitchin Belles saw off Thetford Town 4-1 to leapfrog them into the top half of the table.
1 South – Needham Market rose to third after storming to a 10-1 win at Stanway Pegasus, where Annie Posnett featured with a four-goal haul.
EAST MIDLANDS – Wellingborough Stun Stags
Premier – Chesterfield FC put five past third-placed Rotherham United to lead the table by seven points from Loughborough Foxes Vixens who have a couple of games in hand. Gainsborough Trinity’s 2-1 victory over Stamford came with the decider from Natalie Thomas as they moved up two places to fourth, Wellingborough Town got off the mark with a surprise 4-2 success at Mansfield Town.
1 North – Arnold Eagles were lifted up to second as they defeated Notts County Development with the only goal from substitute Kitty Ward. Chesterfield Community Trust jumped four places to fifth with a 3-1 result at Newark Town, Melvina Luhinzo scoring two of their goals. Cleethorpes Town’s match with Dronfield Town was abandoned after just 20 minutes due to a frozen pitch.
1 South – Newport Pagnell Town thrashed Thrapston 10-0 to go three points clear at the top of Dunton & Broughton United, Charlotte Martin contributing three goals. Northampton Town Development are fourth following their 4-0 defeat of Stanground Cardea Sports, Netherton United fifth after netting all seven goals at River City.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Sevenoaks Win Nine-Goal Trophy Thriller
Premier – Brentford beat third-placed Barking 3-1 to move six points ahead of Saltdean United in the title race, though they’ve played three more games than the Sussex side.

1 South – Leatherhead are fourth after pulling off a 3-0 win at leaders Bognor Regis Town, Steyning Town sent Bexhill United to a 3-1 loss.
League Trophy 2nd Rd – Sevenoaks Town reached the quarter-finals with a 5-4 away win aided by Hannah Cleary’s hat-trick, despite Chloe Debaes getting four off the bench for Montpelier Villa. Dorking Wanderers eliminated Hackney with a Lily Price effort, Actonians Reserves beat Ashford United 4-0 as Holly Reid claimed a hat-trick. AFC Greenwich Borough progressed 5-0 at Soccer Elite Football Academy, while Eastbourne Borough had a walkover against Frimley Green.
NORTH EAST – York Pick Up First Point
1 South – The basement battle was the only match to beat the big freeze, as York City Development got off the mark with a 1-1 draw agaist Millmoor, whose goal from Maddison Lees secured them their third point of the campaign.
NORTH WEST – Fylde Go First
Premier – AFC Fylde won 5-1 at Bury to replace Mancunian Unity at the top and with a game in hand. Bolton Wanderers beat West Didsbury & Chorlton 1-0 to sit one point behind them from two games fewer. Poulton Vics held visitors Crewe Alexandra to a 1-1 draw.

1 Central – Leaders Salford City hit hosts Radcliffe for six, FC St. Helens won 2-1 at Rochdale to remain within five points of the top side with four games to catch up. Wigan Athletic edged Ashton Town by the odd goal in seven, Atherton Laburnum Rovers took the points 3-1 at MSB Woolton.
1 North – Fifth-placed Accrington Stanley and third-in-the table Blackpool played out a goalless draw.
1 South – Manchester Laces saw off bottom side Liverpool Feds Reserves 2-1 to cut Nantwich Town’s lead to six points.
Shield Services Group SOUTH WEST – Wootton Bassett Level on Points with Leaders
Premier – Frampton Rangers are seventh on goal-difference after securing a good 2-0 result over fourth-placed Poole Town.
1 North – Royal Wootton Bassett Town are level on points with leaders Mangotsfield United with a game in hand, after taking a draw at Cirencester Town. The home side led through Lani Dickinson but Chantelle Scott equalised after the break. Substitute Danielle Bullock was at the double as Gloucester City Reserves defeated Paulton Rovers 2-1.
WEST MIDLANDS – Solihull Take Down Top Side
Premier – Solihull Moors sent leaders Redditch Borough home beaten 2-0 as they advanced to fourth spot. Coundon Court got off the bottom aided by two goals from Marianne Taho, as they drew 3-3 at Leek Town, whose Sydney-Marie Gillan also scored twice. Elsewhere, it finished one apiece between Burton Albion and Hednesford Town.

1 South – Redditch United reached the top half of the table with a 4-1 result over Hereford FC, Halesowen Town are up to two eighth with a single goal at Hereford Pegasus.
