Ava Baker Penalty Gives England Women Under 20s Victory Over China

England Women Under-20s edged past China 2-1 with a 90th-minute Ava Baker winner in the friendly match at the Pinatar Arena in Spain.

Lois Shooter gave England the lead after 17 minutesm whe followig up a Vivienne Lia strike from the edge of the area agaist the crossbar.

China equalised before the hour mark but in the final minute, England won a penalty which substitute Ava Baker converted.

The U20s take on the USA on Saturday 29 November (12:00 GMT), before facing Mexico on Tuesday 2 December (11:00 GMT), with both games again at the Pinatar Arena.
