Man City Women and Man Utd Women clash at the Etihad to kick-off the weekend’s Barclays Women’s Super League programme.

The Manchester derby takes place at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, where Manchester City could extend their lead at the top, but a win for Manchester United would put them second behind their local rivals.

Chelsea are away to Liverpool on Sunday, with the Reds only just picking up their first point last week.

Fifth plays fourth, but more importantly, it’s Spurs versus Arsenal in the North London Derby, with the pair level on points and Tottenham having sold their highest number of tickets for a match at Brisbane Road. The Gunners will likely be without Katie Reid for the rest of the season after she suffered an ACL injury in training.

Seventh takes on sixth as Aston Villa face London City, while eighth-placed Brighton have eight points from as many games and take on a Leicester side just beneath them in the table, at the Amex.

West Ham got off the mark with a draw last weekend and entertain Everton, who have not won since their opening fixture. The Toffees’ Kelly Gago has a 50/50 chance of playing after a hamstring injury in training.

WSL 2 leaders Charlton host third-placed Bristol City, who are four points off the top, likewise Birmingham City who face a Portsmouth side coming off back-to-back wins.

The Tyne-Wear derby at St James’ Park sees Newcastle one point ahead of Sunderland, while sixth-placed Sheffield United take on fourth-placed Nottingham Forest.

Southampton are fifth but have lost their last two matches ahead of hosting Durham, while Ipswich Town face Crystal Palace in a basement battle, with the Eagles three points better off.
