There will be at least two Regional League teams in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup 3rd Round, as Bowers & Pitsea face Sutton United and Ponteland United play Altrincham.

Eastern Premier Bowers & Pitsea will host Sutton United from the London & South East League in Essex, while North East Premier side Ponteland United play sixth-tier Altrincham from the North West Division 1 South.

The prize for the winners could be a tie against Barclays WSL 2 opposition, with the 12 second-tier teams entering the competition in the 3rd Round.

Wolves and Stoke City kick off the Second Round ties on Friday with the first-ever live TV broadcast of a match at this stage of the competition.

FA WNL Northern Premier leaders Burnley host Norwich City, while Southern Premier top side Watford take on London & South East League title-chasers Saltdean United.

Norfolk side Wroxham travel to York City, and fellow Eastern Leaguers Royston Town head to Bridgwater.

Leyton Orient – whose Sammy Rowland leads the chase for the Mitre Golden Ball award having scored 14 goals so far in the competition – face a big test against AFC Bournemouth at Brisbane Road, and Dartford could fancy an upset at home to Keynsham Town.

There’s a double header at Marsh Lane, with Oxford United playing Luton Town at 12pm, followed at 3pm by Oxford City versus Swindon Town.

Winning clubs in this round each receive £8,000, while eliminated sides get £2,000.
