Glasgow City’s Sofia Maatta and Lisa Evans put them two goals ahead against Celtic, before a Saoirse Noonan effort gave the Hoops late hope.
Hibernian move up to second after putting five past Motherwell, with Eilidh Adams contributing two goals. Ellis Notley had one goal and three assists, while Stacey Papadopoulos and Siobhan Hunter also found the net.
Rangers overran Hamilton led by a five-goal haul from Katie Wilkinson. Laura Berry scored a couple and there was a goal apiece from Quinty Sabajo, Kim Shin Ji, Mia McAulay, and Alice Griffiths.
A Kaela McDonald-Nguah’s double secured Montrose the points at Patrick, as she added to her sixth-minute goal in the later stages.
Carly Johns’ first-half brace set Hearts on the road to victory, with Bayley Hutchison, Joely Andrews, and Sade Adamolekun’s penalty all extending the advantage, before a consolation goal from Abi Tobin.

Kilmarnock scored the only goal in the top-of-the-table clash at Spartans through Cara Gray to go five points clear. Boroughmuir Thistle are second on goal difference after a 3-0 defeat of East Fife, with Holly Aitchison at the double. Queen’s Park thrashed Stirling University 6-0 helped by Abby Callaghan’s hat-trick to move up to fourth. St Johnstone beat Gartcairn 3-1, Livingston drew 2-2 with Justine Strain’s stoppage-time equalizer against Dundee United, whose Katie Frew was earlier dismissed.
